So this guy I'm interested in, we became friends after a friend introduced us because they realized we had a lot in common. The friend is a senior, and the guy he introduced me too was a sophomore. After getting to know him, I realized that he was not only super mature, but there was good chemistry and we started hanging out solo together, which was very casual. He knows that I will be taking an extra year to finish and he has already knew what he wanted to study but just got his major confirmed. I told the friend I had in common and told him that I like him, and while my friend did encourage me to tell the guy, I don't know why I think he may just see me as a cool upperclassman friend and he wouldn't be interested in dating me, but I want to take the risk and tell him. The only difference is that I'm studying for the graduate school admissions exam and graduate school is a few years away for him, and I am not moving out of state and neither is he for future schools so we're on the same page for that. I recently turned 22 and he is turning 20.
