When is someone ready to truly date?

I'm currently 20, living with my parents, and out of a job until the weather improves. I care for my grandma and my parents have a long term living plan for me, hence why I still live with them (and we all love each other so no harm in staying with them).

However, I've never felt "ready" to date, even when I had a job. Like there's something more I need to be ready.

How do you know when you're ready to be out there in the dating world?

I want you to understand that. Dating is fine as long as you want to. That is ready. Everything else is you holding yourself back.

Everyone has some flaws. Sometimes that is what ends up being endearing. Sometimes it is just a startingpoint.
Do you truly think a guy will care if you live at home? Alone? With roommates? So on?
And we also do not really care about your work. It is good if you are selfsufficient but at 20, few are.

So just go grab someone cute and go blush like tomatoes together. It is all rathef fun.

You’re ready to date when you put yourself out there. Once you’re an adult and you’re more or less emotionally and mentally mature it’s just a matter of doing it. The longer you wait the easier it gets to put it off or pretend you aren’t interested. It doesn’t get any easier to meet people once you start developing habits.
