Will we start dating or is it just friendly?

Flirting back and forth and getting to know a guy in my office for 2 months now. We text regularly and speak at the office. I have hinted at meeting up outside of work a few times and he has welcomed the idea saying it would be great.
He asked me to lunch and so during our office lunch time he drove us to eat out and paid for both of us, we sat down at talked for an hour or so.
How do I know if he is just being friendly or it is something more and he is interested in dating me?

Well it's kinda hard to say for sure. Here's what I'm thinking:

- The regular texting and chatting at work is definitely a positive sign. Shows he's making an effort outside of just office interactions.

- When a guy offers to take you out to lunch alone, drive you there, pay for it and you have a long chat, that's starting to look like a proper little date if you ask me.

- Most blokes wouldn't do all that unless they were interested in getting to know a sheila better in a more personal way.

So from where I'm standing, it's sounding pretty promising that he fancies you! But if you wanna be 100% certain, maybe you could try hinting at plans again to make it extra clear you mean like an actual date, and see how he responds.

Or if you're feeling bold you could even ask him outright of he wants it to be more than just friends. Guys usually appreciate a girl who speaks her mind!

But from the signs so far I'd say he's into ya. Keep chatting, maybe some light flirty banter, see if he tries taking you out again. Feel like you two could have something good cooking! Let me know if anything happens yeah?
