Hear me out. Before reading, I like giving details that gives the reader complete understanding of the story. I am not rushing anything just curious because I never did this before and i don't know when is the proper time to do this. So here goes...
We went on our first date Thursday. For me it was going well. We went to two separate bars but had to cut it short because he needed to catch the train back home. He said rain check for the rest of the date. I don't know if this matters but the date lasted about 4 hours. He did kiss me at the second bar we went to and I pulled him in for another kiss a few seconds after that. When we left the bar, I told him we can jump on the subway to catch his train. He said he would rather talk and walk. When we reached his train platform he kissed me goodbye.
He did write to me on Friday and we spoke like normal. No, he did not say anything about the date. The last thing i asked him on Friday was about the project he was working on. He replied the next morning it was completed by 4am on Saturday. I wrote back to him Saturday morning a few minutes after receiving his message, he saw the message 3 hours later but didn't reply. Which is fine he was tired and probably saw it and forgot to reply. I texted him later on in the day yesterday to see how he was doing, he hasn't seen the message and it's been over 11 hours and I know he is probably either still trying to get rest or busy.
I am asking this question because I feel like he is out of my league. I do like him and he was sweet overall. However, if he isn't interested how long should I wait to ask that, for closure, whether he replies or not, at least I know I asked.
I don't want to assume anything, so I just wanted to ask if you're still interested in me.
Or
I had a really good time on our date and would like to see you again but if you are not interested, let me know.
I am not trying to be clingy even through it might sound like it. This is my first time in the dating field and I am just trying to figure things out so I don't come off weird or clingy.

He is done and ghosting you! 11 hours no response he is ignoring you!
We all are constantly on our phones would you ever go that long getting back to someone you like?
Only reason I don't text my hubby back in like 3 hours is cause things went side ways at the hospital and my phone is in my locker!
If I did not hear from him for 11 hours something is very wrong!
