On dating apps, should I post pictures of me with other women like my ex's? They say that women go after men that are spoken for. Should I try to tap into this to improve the amount of activity I get on dating apps?

Nah man I wouldn't recommend posting pics with your exes on your dating profile. That's just asking for trouble. Here's why:

- Chicks might think you're not over your ex if you're posting pics together still. Makes them wonder if you're really available.

- Your ex probably won't be psyched to see you're using pics of her to try and attract other girls. Even if you're broken up that could start drama.

- Sure, some girls might think you're "taken" and want you more, but lots will also think you're not over your ex or that there's still something going on there.

- Better to have pics that clearly show you're single and show off your best self, not make them guess about old relationships.

I'd say either use recent solo shots, or ones with your guy friends doing fun stuff. Let your bio and conversations show your personality instead. Don't need to create confusion or give your ex a reason to be pissed just for a dating app strategy, ya know? Play it cool - you'll do fine without those kinds of pics man.

Ehh. Bit weird. Without extra information, I'd just feel confused about your status if I saw pictures with a woman you looked to have been romantically involved with. Like, are you still dating her and you're just looking for a side piece or hookup? Is she just a friend now? If you're not friends with her at all anymore, that's even weirder than just featuring some pictures with you and your friends on your profile. I'd avoid it, since adding any uncertainty into the equation is a great way to get rejected by people who just wanna err on the side of caution and not step into an unknown and potentially complicated relationship dynamic.

I wouldn’t be swiping yes on any guy that had pics of him with women, unless they were photo ops with celebrities, or family like his mum or sister and he stated that in his profile. I want to see you, it’s your profile. It’s not your ex’s profile, I don’t need to see her.
