There are a lot of people who don't want to get married. That's even more true at your age. There is no way of knowing if this guy is one of them, or if you are just not the one.

It's very common for people when they are young to not want to get married, then change their mind as they get older. But you can't count on them changing their mind.

Does the reason matter? Is there any reason to continue dating him?

No. Some people just don’t believe in marriage and I’m one of them. I have no problem committing to a long term relationship but I’m not getting married ever. The woman has nothing to do with it. She could be 10/10 but I’m still not marrying her

Nope. Marrying in the USA is a horrible idea for men. I would recommend asking him what about marriage he is against and follow up with something like "would you get married without the government intervention?" As in would he marry provided the marriage was between you 2 and whatever you believe in without signing anything meaning a divorce cannot happen. The relationship would end just like all boyfriend/girlfriend relationships with you both going your separate ways

Take him at his word. I do not believe in marriage and will never see it as a life goal I will ever seek.
