Guys, Why do most men think just because they pay for dates a woman is suppose to have sex with them when they are ones who asked?

Do you have any data to support your premise, or is that based on subjective experience and anecdotal evidence primarily?

I love reading answers that say "... society has done this or that..." to dating. No it hasn't. Society doesn't date; individual people do. If you want to argue that we now live in a greedy "society" that only wants to "hook-up", take that argument out into the real world and watch how many people will say " Oh no, not me", both men and women. Where does the truth fall in all of this supposition?

Most men? When I ask a woman out I expect presence and civility. That's all. I did a lot of dating online and never expected or asked for intimacy. This worked well for me. After the third date women were inviting me to bed.

Here's the reason. Our society has destroyed the dating culture and replaced it with a hook up transactional culture.

We no longer date to get to know each other, we date to see what we can get out of each other.

Because of the birth control pill. Because of the sexual revolution. Because of hook up culture. Because sex just within a marriage or a long term committed relationship is almost non existent in western countries. Because the vast majority of women are loose and easy and hardly any of them have high morals or standards anymore that you find a girl who'll put out more often then a girl who has high sexual morals.

Men shouldn't be expected to pay for dates. Pay for your half/share of the date costs, and you will get quality men. The guys willing to pay for everything are only doing so because they see it as paying for sex.

No. If a man asks a woman out, it's his treat, for at least the first date. He should expect nothing more than having a nice meal and conversation. It's not up to him to move the night forward past that.
