I think because one of the hallmarks of being a celebrity or high-profile / successful person is an attractive spouse. It sort of validates your desirability to have some eye candy on your arm. Now, these women are simply doing what every male would do which is grab onto the best mate they can attain. Truth is, these women (like most of the male celebrities) also know that absent their wealth and/or high-profile existence they wouldn’t have the man (or woman) they are with.


Fat positive is a almost exclusively female cause. (You won’t see women rallying for fat male models, athletes, and actors. There is no demand for fat male mannequins at Target.)



Men (generally) are judged by their professional success & income they can be fat and attain a level of respect and success and find a woman far outside their league, physically, with enough success. A dude can be fat as heck and still land a desirable woman.


Women (generally) are more often judged by their beauty and attractiveness and with enough of it can find a man far above their social, professional, or educational level. It’s very hard for a fat woman to level up so the body-positivity movement has to spread this propaganda that it’s normal.

Because even though they are overweight, they still have the attitude that they can have better than an overweight man. But also, the men with healthier forms who date them help to reinforce these overweight women's egos - not on purpose of course, but these women just have the attitude that it really doesn't matter how fat they get they can always get what they want.

Because obesity is not attractive in the slightest. I'm being hypocritical here being a fat chick myself but I'm also trying desperately to lose the weight because I don't want to be this way. It's not fair to my partner who is small. Sex is lacking because of me which is not a good feeling at all.

I recently saw a video of Tess trying to lose the weight and I think so is Lizzo. So they know being fat is not good and I expect them to be much smaller by the end of this year (due probably to ozempic) but at least their getting healthy which is what fat positivity should be about. Getting towards a healthy body.

Men who go after obese women are usually insecure and have low value in themselves. Its rare to find a man who is confident and attractive that wants an obese woman. When they are confident and attractive, there is usually something underlying there that is not exactly seen outwardly but I bet a million bucks that they have issues inwardly to want a fat chick.

This is not the case for every man but I think it is the case for most men. They are either very unattractive going after a fat chick or they are attractive but something is wrong with them.

A relationship isn't and shouldn't be just about whether someone is fat, thin, muscular, etc. It should be about the person underneath all that who treats you right. There are plenty of people in this world attracted only to things they personally are not, but we don't sit here and go, well because someone doesn't have the education you do, you shouldn't date them, but only people in "your bracket." Fat-positivity isn't for men as I see it. It shouldn't even exist for women in my blunt opinion, but it's especially not for men, since men will never be able to survive the harsh expectations society places on them under the mindset, "We're perfect as we are."

Self-love for a man isn't embracing ourselves as we are but continually working to improve ourselves. It's the only way we can even stay afloat in society and not sink to the very bottom.

Overall and generally, this is true.
It's not easy to get with anyone, and mens looks are not of as much value to a woman, we have to work on our peopleskills, flirting, approaching, charming and how to walk the thin lines of assuming mindreaders. It's hard work for most (though some do get a headstart or have a born touch for it).

But point is, there are enough desperate men out there (fit or not) to partner up all the women out there.
Women will always have options. Sadly, the worst scum of women probably won't ever need to worry about those consequences.

Surely though, there are also a fair amount of men valuing character and intelligence over physics, it's possible, but rare.

Some have medical conditions that prevent them from losing weight. At the end of the day couples take lots of forms for example I went to a wedding where the pride was fat and the groom built like a stick and vice versa. Some women are ugly and the boyfriend looks like a movie star or model and your like damn how did she get lucky and again vice versa. My point is everyone has some to love them they way they want to be loved.
