How do you respond to "can't wait to see you"?

A guy I've been on dates with, has sent "Can't wait to see you" or "can't wait" with 😍 after each date. We haven't had next date planned, but we're considering a few options.

He's said that at least 3 times after last date, but even before we started talking about next date, he had said that he "can't wait" to see me.

I've asked about what he could've meant in my previous questions, but I haven't asked how I can respond? I don't want him to think that I'm ignoring those texts, although I've been reacting or responding to those texts with 😉 and I've responded "I'd like to see you again as well and get to know you more."

I've told him that I wanted to hear about a sport game that he plays and is passionate about. I've also complimented on his qualities with 😉

What and how can I respond when next time he says "can't wait" to see me?

I don't want to just say the same back to him, since I don't feel such an intense emotion that I can't wait to see him, but I do like him and would like you see him again.
