Girls, do you like really smart men?

A lot of time have heard people saying that smart guys are good as they will make more money. Does any girl like a guy for his intelligence/knowledge itself? (not for the possibility of income).

Someone who reads a lot, probably into academic careers...

and I am talking about really smart, way above regular smart... like researchers

P. S. ---- Researchers/scientists don't make a lot of money unlike doctors/engineers

I like guys who are smart in terms of common sense, life experience/street smart, knows how to do practical things that make life a little easier.
I don’t really like guys who are really smart academically. Who excel at things like science, math, literature etc. I’m not the smartest, and I think I would be intimidated by a guy like that.

I love smart, witty men. But being smart doesn't mean ONLY academic knowledge. It means intelligence combined with life experience. And a lot of witty humor :D If he was into academic research, I would support him.

One secret, the majority of the scientists are mid-level. The ones who actually make real contributions are witty, silly, and most likely have more life experiences... struggles. I have had conversations with Nobel Laureates.

People terribly dilute the term, genius. Actual genius is hard to find even in the best universities and they never claim to be one.
