When communicating with a guy for a meetup. Which approach do you prefer, from the guy?

He plans a meetup, doesn’t mention dating or anything

He plans a meetup, puts it’s a get to know you date.

Get to know you dates aren’t a thing. Might as well call every meet up a date then. Date and a meet up are different.
He makes a plan, you get to know each other and see from there if you’d like to date which you’ll both talk about

Beside the title difference what other differences are there? I mean, date 1 and 2 are basically platonic (if you are meeting someone that you don’t know that much). Why call them meetups?

If it's just platonic.. Of course, it will just be a normal hang out with a friend lol. But if it's a date.. he should specify it is a date and it is more attractive when a guy takes the lead on planning it.
