Why have people always assumed that if you were single for life BY CHOICE or REMAIN SINGLE BY CHOICE that you are lying?

When you think about it, what they are telling you with their behavior is that they are desperate and would have taken any number of people to not be alone. They can't understand why you are not the same as them. So why would they be so desperate to find just anyone? Well, they likely have abandonment issues (i. e. daddy issues). They feel unappreciated and lack healthy self-esteem thus they jump at any opportunity to be in a relationship. It happens a lot with people from broken families. Being that half of all marriages end in divorce, many kids grow up damaged with abandonment issues. They just can't comprehend how someone would turn down a relationship and accept being alone, because they have so much trauma due to the way they were raised..

When i tell people I’ve chosen to stay single they think it’s because i hate women. They consider me an incel. 🤷🏻‍♂️ If everybody thinks i hate women just because i have decided to stay single after being constantly cheated on in the past than sure I guess i hate women

It has happened to me before but then other are surprised, I think it depends if the person find you attractive or not, if they don't, they act like this
