Why would a guy ghost me after 2 months of dating?

We met on a dating site. Clicked right away, and he payed me a visit twice, within 2 months. (We live in different countries) Asked me to be his girlfriend, and we already had plans for next month. Then, after the last visit which was on Saturday, he only sent me a text saying he has some kind of problem and isn’t feeling very well. I’ve asked for an explanation, called him once but no answer. Is it over?

- Long distance is hard, and maybe he got overwhelmed by the challenge after the honeymoon phase wore off. People bail easier from afar.

- Cold feet about committing? Things were moving fast saying girlfriend so soon. Two months isn't that long to really know someone.

- He might have met someone local he clicked with better, unfortunately. Out of sight, out of mind.

- An ex popped back up in his DMs and threw him off? Could explain the sudden "problem."

- Perhaps some personal issue on his end not fully related to y'all's relationship. But that's no excuse for just dipping silent!

I'd give it a bit more time, then move on sis. Clearly he ain't got the communication skills or dedication for a real connection if he bails this easily. You deserve someone who shows up fully and doesn't play games! On to bigger and better things, girl. You got this!

Considering both of you have only been on a total of 3 dates, he most likely wasn’t feeling the last visit. Most likely is ghosting because he is too immature to say how he really feels. You are probably better off. You are an entire country away and he can’t even be honest with his feelings even though he has full capability of breaking up with you via text
