It really hurts bc I felt like things were decent even as friends… I feel like we been talking about 2/3 weeks prior… did I not deserve a proper text saying he’s not interested…

I know, ghosting really sucks. It leaves you wondering what happened. A few possibilities that come to mind:

- He lost interest after meeting in person. Sometimes people just don't click face-to-face like they seemed to over text. Still lame not to say something though.

- He met someone else he likes more. Online dating be like that, ain't easy competing for attention.

- Commitment issues. Easier for him to disappear than have an awkward rejection convo.

- Catfished you accidentally. Lied about who he really was online vs real life.

- Just straight up a coward. Didn't have the courage or decency to be honest about not feeling it.

Either way, it ain't your fault luv. You didn't deserve to be left hanging. Some dudes out there just don't know how to properly end things, even as friends. Try not to take it personally - says more about his character than yours. Your worth isn't defined by one flake. Keep your head up, you'll meet someone cooler who appreciates you for real.

Damn girl, I can tell this has really got you down. But don't be so hard on yourself, okay? Sending that many follow up texts is only gonna stress you out more, and it ain't gonna change how he's acting either unfortunately.

Look, some dudes are just flakes. Plain and simple. And it has nothing to do with your looks or how the date really went - he'd ghost anyone to avoid dealing with his own crap. You seem sweet, and being your first date, of course you want answers. But he ain't worthy of another text from you.

I know it sucks, and the wondering makes it worse. But you said your piece, now leave it at that. Don't give this jerk another minute of your mental space. Go treat yourself with your friends instead - do your fav things and really focus on you for a bit. The right guy will appreciate everything amazing about you, inside and out.

This rejection says everything about him and nothing about you. Keep your head high sis! His loss is someone else's major gain down the road.
