We were talking since January this year, we had been on about 12 dates, he very early on said he was falling for me, he said he liked me a lot, he always paid for expensive meals even though he had a basic job, I always tried to offer but he always stood there and told me no, I always said thank you, I went up to London every week to see him which was about 1.5 hours and stayed there all day until 11pm and so we both did our bit to show appreciation for each other which was lovely

We used to face time everyday for hours, we spoke on the phone and text every day, he always used to text me good morning, he used to say wake up, that was his thing everyday haha, he used to buy me little things in London like little trinklets which was so thoughtful, I had come out of my 7 year relationship soon before I started talking to him, it was a domestically abusive relationship and it’s affected me and I noticed he had become a little bit withdrawn I think maybe to do with his course…

I don’t know if he maybe is the type of shut off his feelings and avoid conflict and it’s easier for him to not address his feelings and perhaps that’s why he chose to ghost

I just don’t understand how we were that intense with each other, got on so well, and then suddenly he said he had to focus on his work, he said he couldn’t focus if I was trying to cause arguments over nothing but it wasn’t nothing, he spoke abruptly and it kind of confused me and it upset me the way he spoke and I challenged him on it and rather than communicating he decided to ghost me, he said he needed to be left alone until the weekend and then he never replied, he said he had 4 girlfriends before and they weren’t very long and he said he has never been this with someone else and he hasn’t been that talkative with anyone else and he told me he thinks he’s fallen for me, how can he be like that and then suddenly ghost? Is it possible he got scared and just decided to ghost so he hasn’t got to acknowledge the feelings, because when I would mention a relationship or commitment considering it had been 5 months he would keep saying it’s not been that long or tell me to have patience
