What is the longest period of time where you had little to no desire to seek another potential partner/relationship after a prior relationship ended?

About a year. I was too torn up to even think about anyone but her. And it wasn't because I had no desire for another girlfriend. I just didn't think it would be possible to find one as ideal as her. But I didn't go back to her even though she tried, because I was afraid that we would eventually break up again and I didn't think I could survive a second time. We just weren't destined to be live-long partners. I had to move on.

I still love her with all my heart and will never forget her, but I think it was the right decision. Things worked out for the best.
