What was the longest time you’ve gone without any love interest since you started dating?

I think I've always had love interest but I have not acted upon it and I believe there's a time and a place for everything and I just went through a bunch of stuff in life and I had to deal with that and then find myself again even though I was still right here it's just took a lot of out of me and it was quite draining but I think I've always had love interest because that's just who I am and I like to share that that bond that commitment that one-on-one becoming one-on-one becoming one with one that's what I guess I'm trying to say.

And I just didn't feel the need to jump into anything because I want to make it right I need to make it right I need work to do the best that it can possibly be because that's the way it should be so when I get all my wisdom my strength and let go of all the drama and crap that I've been through I will be ready again I believe and I mean I'm just about there but then I have to find that person

To answer your question it's been just about 4 years which is an awful long time but it's okay they will all be worth it

As of right now. Closing in on a year and counting.


To be fair I bloomed late so it took me 22 years to get into the game.


But once I was in I became relentless and for the next 4 years never went for more than a month without someone in my life.


But last year I ended a relationship for certain reasons and then decided I need to hit the breaks.


While I was enjoying every second of my active dating life I was also never truly building for a future because I neglected myself in ways that impacted the quality of my prospects


I later decided that I don’t want to settle. I truly want to find a woman that I can love completely. And for that I needed to become someone that is completely lovable as well.


So for a year I've been on a self development journey.
I still have women in life. But I’m not actively trying to rush into a relationships or situationships with them.

Year or two still miss it but it's harder most girls are not bi. So my affections get ignored.

Probably 5 years and counting? It's been a while to say the least. But I wouldn't say I've lacked action during that time. That would've been a truly rough time.
