The word situationship is the proper name for the type of relationship you're in. Your so-called partner or your boyfriend is not your situationship. Also the word itself does not have a good connotation since it denotes that the person is not actually your boyfriend and you two are just seeing each other because it is what is convenient for now. I would say don't get too carried away with your thoughts and fantasies as if he cared about you. If he had felt any kind of emotional bonding occuring between you and him, he would have approached you differently, and you wouldn't be calling it situations now.

Then this sounds like kinda not the right thing to be worrying about then if you ask me... Not that you did lol.

I'd worry about what things those situation had in common with your current one. Namely the type of guy you're talking to or what point the relationship hit when the cheating took place, maybe figuring that out could be helpful.

If you're worried you're too clingy, maybe it has less to do with something you're doing in the beginning of the relationship and more as time goes on.
