Is it bad if a girl knows you have missed her?

I was in the gym and asked her where she had been last week. She did not answer immedeately and I saw her thinking, then she playfully said that I had missed her because she knows from my question.

She has noticed I like being with her and I feel she does too. But I was in total shock when she said that, it was very confronting and a blast to my Ego for her to say that I missed her, because it was true. It feels exciting and at the same time bad to feel so dependent on her being there.

anyone knows whether it is good that she knows or does this compromise my position a little since I am too obvious?

Ofcourse this is a good thing!
If she genuinely likes being with you then it would be very flattering that you missed her and noticed she wasn't there.

Personally if I didn't like a guy, then I might think in my head "oh apparently he seemed to have missed me" but I would never comment on it because I wouldn't want to fuel the fire. Here it seems like she teased you a bit with it which is something a girl would do if she noticed you too.

Did she say anything about missing you? For all you know she didn’t have a single thought about you while she was away.

She knows that you care and are emotionally invested and wanting of her presence. She has the upper hand emotionally. You want her more than she wants you. Now she know it.

She did not say anything about missing me but asked me if I had a valentines date that night. On other occasions she wanted to know whether I have a girlfriend. I personally dont feel that she is not invested, she approached me multiple times. It could be that I am more invested, but I am the only one who decides whether I will be compromised, right?
