Generally just one or a few conversations does the trick for me if we're really going to click and be compatible. With my wife, just our first few conversations already made us feel as though we've known each other an entire lifetime.

I've found through the actual process of dating that I'm incompatible with quiet, shy, mysterious, and/or reserved women. I'm most compatible with the opposite: the open book type of woman who shares everything so freely. I'm similar. So it doesn't take much to spot one of those since we'll be engaging in soul-sharing conversations almost as soon as we meet for the first time.
