Girls, Am I a decent guy I'm meaning someone you'd at least give a first date?

I have social anxiety disorder and dating is something I've only recently been trying. I describe myself as kind, romantic, very respectful of women, I want to be a good boyfriend/husband, I love animals, art , music, movies. I have a bachelor's degree in social work. I work out a lot to lose weight. I love comedy especially SNL. I like to be funny but it's hard to be in today's sensitive society. I do not think single mothers are women to avoid. My problem is I like comics and stuff like that. I've read so many articles that say that is a huge red flag for women to avoid guys who like that stuff. I just don't know what women would think of me. I've been told I'm good looking just a little chubby.

I don't see why a woman would refuse to date you. Maybe you just need to look in new places or you haven't found the right woman yet.

What are things you see that you like? What places should I look I'm not a club bar guy.

The fact that you're kind, romantic and you respect women. Maybe you could meet women through mutual friends. Or you start taking classes of something you like or play a sport.
