Would You Date Someone Who Is Extremely Busy?

I met a woman on Match. com, and we clicked. We both work full-time, and neither of us has children. She doesn't like to text or make phone calls, and we have only met once.

She said she is very busy with work and is only available every other weekend. However, on the weekends she is off, sometimes she isn't available because she needs to clean and do errands. Plus, she has girlfriends that she likes to spend time with.

So I'm looking at seeing her maybe once or twice a month.

Would you get involved in a relationship in which you can only see the other person once or twice a month?

I was extremely n]busy when I dated. I STILL took an hour for lunch and to walk with her. I was taking a crazy amount of classes in college. Pulling an all nighter was common. I worked my butt off even harder - and the then girlfriend would come visit me at school. Some of the time, I’d study with her. I’d do the dishes and spend time with her. I’d do laundry and spend time with her. I MADE the time. The few social times we’d have where we didn’t have to study was because I worked extra hard to allow that time (movies, dinner, etc).


Personally, I’d feel like she wasn’t all that interested if it was once every two weeks, but that’s me.

Everyone is different in their dating style, but personally nope. Months ago I had a guy I was seeing for abit who mentioned a crazy busy schedule that he barely wanna make quality time similar to your situation… and I found it so funny how many women put up with it from what he told me while they usually end for the same reason that he’s “too busy” and I surprised him by probably being one of the few who didn’t wanna continue after finding out. He was a pretty nice guy & treats me well when we spent time together, but he definitely not boyfriend material in that alley in my opinion. I get pretty busy too, but it’s about making time for each other and not fitting each other in your schedule. Therefore, I see this more of a foreshadowing to commitment problem in early dating stage.

"Date" only in the sense of what I'll call it in polite company of hers. If you don't have time for me I don't have time for you, but we can swap sweat every other weekend if you're hot enough and not boring in bed.
