I think this has more to deal with the breakdown of the family unit in this country more than anything else.
Honestly, if you're not up for the task, don't have kids. Nothing selfish or wrong with realizing it's too much risk.
This world needs strong people to get together and start families.

A lot of these women ARE single. You mean is it safer to not be in a relationship with some guy? Then you have all these women who are killing their children so they can get in a relationship, or keep one with some POS guy.
