Of course. It makes no sense to automatically disregard someone's opinion based on their gender. There are stupid men and women, and there are smart men and women. Gender has nothing to do with it.

Being male doesn't automatically make someone credible or wise. And when I think about it, I probably know more women than men personally who are wise, informed, insightful and level headed.

Just because you respect someone's opinions doesn't mean that you always have to agree with them. I learn by seeking information and insight from others. But I formulate my own opinions based on what I know so far. And I revise my opinions as more information becomes available.

My wife and I have a good relationship. We talk a lot about all kinds of things. She's smart. She's also perceptive, intuitive and insightful. I value her input and she values mine. We don't always agree with each other, but we value and respect each other's knowledge, insights and opinions. I have learned a lot from her over the past 29 years.

Also, without getting too deep into it, the experience of growing up female makes women generally more observant than men. Men think in a more linear fashion. But women learn to read body language and motives better. They learn to see right through bullshit. It's a self defense mechanism. They pick up on subtleties and spend a lot of time analyzing people and everything that goes on around them. They spend a lot of time thinking things through and talking things out, although they can be guilty of overthinking.
Their unique observations and points of view can be enlightening.

Finally, men are generally superior to women in size and strength, but not necessarily intellectually. Women can excel in art, science, academics, business, and anything else they put their minds to.

It all depends on what she says, if she is selfish and being a hypocrite (especially a equality hypocrite) then of course not. Also if a woman says she does not care what you think which is default millennial woman mode when they doing something wrong, then you should also not respect her opinions. Because her saying she does not care what you think means she is not respecting your opinions

He doesn’t have to agree but should learn to respect other people have the right to have a different opinion. I have no problem with people disagree with me as long as they don’t word their response in a degrading way.

“I don’t like blond hair” is better than saying “Blond hair is ugly and looks like pee”

We should respect each other, regardless of gender. Listening to different opinions will broaden your horizons. Knowing different perspectives makes it easier to understand other people.

Yes because that means he treats her as a human being and not a thing he owns. Respect doesn´t mean you have to share those opinions and it doesn´t mean that she´ll take the lead it and makes the decisions it just means that he gives her a place where she´s acknowledged as a person and where she can say what she wants.

Why should men respect a woman’s opinions if women don’t respect a man’s? If a man and a woman have unprotected sex and she gets pregnant and the whole decision making process begins he can only give his opinion on what she should do but in the grand scheme of things she’s going to do whatever she wants regardless of his opinion. So again why should men respect a woman’s opinion if women won’t respect a man’s?

Depends on the opinion. If it's a stupid opinion I'm not going to respect it whether it came from a man or a woman. If it's sound and well supported, I'll respect it regardless of who it comes from. I don't see how sex plays a role in this.
