Where and how do I find a man?

So how do you find a man who is

loyal

Fun

hardworking

Who doesn't treat me like shit or has a drinking or drug problem who isn't going to belittle or talk down to me

I want to find a man who likes some of the stuff I do like like farming doing building projects or crafts like ceramics or painting who potentially wants to have a kid someday

I'm very introverted and don't really seak people out because I like to be alone typically.

I don't really have any dating experience so I don't know how to find a partner who is actually worth being with.

I wasted six years of my life with a cheater who showed time and time again how little he cared about how I felt about thing's.

So I'm not interested in wasting more of my time on people who just want to keep me around because I'm easy to keep. I'm not looking for anyone right this minute I want to work on myself first but I want to know how to find people I connect with when I'm ready

I've never been in a relationship so take what I'm about to say with a grain of salt. If one wants a good quality man/ woman then your best bet is to firstly avoid any scene that promotes and encourages hook up culture i. e. Pub, bars, clubs etc.

You said that you like ceramics and painting, maybe you should try and find a group (s) that does those things. Do you have Facebook? That place is filled with all sorts of groups that caters to all sorts of different interests. Maybe you'll get lucky and find some groups that are close to where ever you live.

I have medical issues, am shy and also like to keep to myself. But even I know that I ain't going to make friends for find that special someone by staying at home. I myself am thinking of joining a bowls club, not to find a girlfriend but to make actual friends. And If I make friends with girl and it turns into something more... then great. My point is that, you should join a group with no expectation that you are going to eventually get husband. Instead have the mindset that you are just looking to make some friends.

It's always a crap shoot (e. g roll of the die).

there's not real concrete way to find out up front, you just have to go with your instincts.

That said, it really helps to go get involved in the things you enjoy in a social setting. Your way more likely to meet someone decent whilst your just enjoying what you enjoy and usually they've come because their into the same stuff. Gives you a good solid bonding point and tends to reduce the grifter factor.

On I guess one solid peice of advice is to be bold. IME the kindest nicest singles are the ones who are more reserved and need a little help to meet a girl. So look for the quiet ones and speak to them, if you attract them they will soon warm to you.

do some retrospection time... what mistakes have you done? How to avoid them? What to change in you and your way of approaching things, to get a different outcome?

sort out your strengths and weaknesses. Make some plan on working on both groups. It will boost your confidence and self-esteem. And naturally confident people attract more people.

when you meet someone don't hurry things. Take your time to get to know people. Don't do it with a thought of relationship, just focus on learning about them. Who they are, how do they react? What are their hobbies, work, and after work activities. How do they treat other people? How react in stressful situations?

take your time. And when you sure he is this person you want to create the relationship with and he feels the same way - go for it

Not in the alleyway or the bars is a start. Reality is anywhere. A good man can be found anywhere else. He is anywhere, but so is the trash. It's just not written on everybody's forehead who they are. That's the sucky part. You're VERY introverted so you're probably going to be saying hi when you could.

You can try some sites or apps that allow a bio to tell about yourself and hope they read it. It's good for introverts because you don't have to approach out of your comfort zone, you can just send a message from your home.

And another place is a place where you like to spend time, where you are comfortable and where you can be yourself. There you may be more likely to open up and talk more. And you can find a person who also likes to spend time there. Maybe they're also an introvert.

I'm the same way on the male end of the spectrum. I have a very difficult time finding someone too. Im a guy who specializes in classic British cars, (and when i say specialize i mean i have three and i drive them and work on them happily) i never smoke, drink, do drugs, smoke weed, or any of that junk. I would like someone i could have kids with and live in a rural area debt free as i am now. Its insane how delusional girls my age that i meet are. They go after the guy with the illusion of money when in reality they have 100,000$+ worth of debt and they aren't shit.

Heal your trauma and find out why you stayed for 6 years. You will be able better at sorting through which guys are good or bad after that. If you have a trusted male like a dad, brother, friend etc. then use them as a screening. Have them spend time with the guy prior to getting serious.
