Are people really so busy that they can’t respond to texts?

I personally don’t believe this excuse because I get it people are busy for a few hours doing whatever and can’t get back. Me personally no matter what I’m doing no matter who texted I can check a moment and respond. Don’t mean I’m attracted or anything just to me a respect thing. Like I work 40-50 hours, hangout with friends, help out in the house, hobbies so I’m still busy but there’s people that don’t respond for a week and tell me that. Then act all interested like I’m moved on a little like I like them still because the initial attraction but I can’t depend on them to text back or respond and dependability is a big thing to me.

sometimes... I rather wait, why

because I really won't have the time, the focus and the mood the person deserves and I want to give them... so then, I just wait a couple of minutes or couple of hours, even a couple of days on extreme cases

also true that... there's only a few people that I will never be too busy for them, and they know who they are...

People are working day and night, have a full functioning family, have friends and still find time to have an affair and you my friend wonder if they're really busy and that's why they can't respond to texts?

What would you do if 20 people sent you text messages in one day? The bible says it’s a bad idea to have too many friends.
