First, it probably depends entirely on what a woman’s role in porn is. On the low end of the spectrum is perhaps nude modeling or erotic pictures. This is relatively tame by porn standards and probably has a larger bandwidth or men who could accept this. On the other end of the spectrum is masturbation, sex with another person (s), or outright prostitution.

What man would be comfortable knowing any one of his friends, coworkers, family, or even random strangers may have intimate knowledge of his woman? It lowers her value and worth to him. Particularly because as a general rule men don’t discuss the specifics of their woman’s sex life with other men, if they respect her. This bypasses this barrier and makes her sexuality part of the public domain. Simply put, it’s not worth it. It’s not that he’s insecure or not a ‘real man’. It’s just not worth the drama. (Also, defining a man’s manhood, or “real man status”, on who he dates is a horrible standard. A man’s overall worth is far more dependent on a dozen factors than just the woman in his life. I have found this to the the blanket excuse of women who need to offload the accountability of her own life into another. Blaming is easier than accepting.)

Men don’t generally care about a woman’s income so the profit she may make is not much of a counterbalance to these concerns.

Fair question, would any woman accept a man who was routinely engaging in sexual acts or encounters with other women? The absolute vast majority of women would say no. Even a month on GaG will validate this point.

Personally, I don't care much. However, you're going to have a hard time finding a guy with any sense of pride for multiple reasons.

First, it is incredibly hard to trust a woman who not only does that kind of work, but doesn't understand why it would be difficult for the average man to accept.

Building off that point, it puts the man in an extremely disadvantaged position socially. A woman has a shitty partner, yes she gets judges a little, but she'll get more pity than anything else. A guy with a shitty partner is viewed as less trustworthy in terms of judgment, emotionally immature, undisciplined, and unworthy of being held in high regard.

As unfair as it is, when everyone has seen your girl performing sex on a Webcam site, that's all they can see. They don't see (insert name here) the girl who has a degree and learned a second language when she was 22 excetra excetra, they see someone who took the easy way out because she didn't have anything else to offer because why else would she do such a degrading thing.

That's just how people think and the reality is, any man you date will have that hanging over them wherever they go and it will come out and attack anywhere at anytime. It could be the dinner table on a holiday, it could be at work when he wants to intruduce you to his boss for because he's trying to have diner with them and get a promotion, social media, imagine when you have kids.

They're insecure? Damm right there insecure, they'd have something to be incredibly insecure about dating someone who brings so much trouble into their life. It's not insecure, it's just realizing you're not that guy who knows how to handle those situations, or maybe they morally have something against it.

But there are very real reasons.

I hope you find the right guy who loves and appreciates you and has the confidence and other things in life necessary to your relationship working out. There are guys who don't care much about any of that.
