It doesn't matter what your feelings are for him. He's just given an indication of his feelings towards you. You don't say that shit unless there is some intent somewhere. Your love may not be healthy. There appears to be a lack of boundaries. Maybe there is some codependency.
A boundaried person, upon hearing that, would say, 'sorry, it's over', and run for the hills.
This stuff is not a joke. I've known people who have been stabbed who have gotten caught up in women's poor dating choices.
