Do men also develop feelings for women they’re seeing casually?

I’m wondering if men develop feelings for someone they are seeing casually. I (26) met a guy (28) on an online dating app. Out first to meeting we were intimate and it was passionate. We could easily have conversations and seemed to agree on that too. He was curious about what other apps I use and if I do this often. I told him it’s not something I do and it was my first time being intimate in a very long time.

Last week we met and I told him I had a UTI infection and he seemed worried. I couldn’t have sex with him. He was understanding and just wanted us to caress each other. He also told me he saw I was online the night before we met and he told me he deleted his dating app. I’m asked why and he said he didn’t need it anymore.

Ever since then I started to wonder if he could be developing feelings. Do men end up having feelings for a woman they are casually seeing?

Sure. I mean, it depends on the individual and their mental/emotional makeup, but it can happen. Sex is intimate by nature, some are more willing and/or able to separate sex from emotions, but I think most of us, after you sleep with someone, you do have an extra connection with that person that didn’t exist before. Tough to throw around a word like “love” at that early of a stage, but let’s call it “caring for” that person a little more, provided it was an enjoyable experience that you’ll probably try to do again. Kind of an old-timey term, but if you have “a lover”, lmao, I figure, at least on the guy’s end, you should still treat a lady a certain way in those times when you’re together. The lady on your arm is the lady on your arm, and I believe you should be gentlemanly to a lady on your arm, whether it’s your wife, a one night stand, and anything in between.

In your specific situation, I’d say the deletion of the dating app is more telltale. It could still be casual, though, and he’s just a “one woman at a time” type. I was single for many years, actively saw girls or at least hooked up, but for the most part, there was usually just one pot cooking on the stove at a time. I had a hot hand one week, lmfao, but juggling the girls was nerve-wracking, and ultimately ended with me just seeing one of them (and some sore feelings😅😅😅). So him announcing he’s off the app might be a signal of more serious interest, or it could be just him letting you know you’re the only gal on his roster (and maybe is hinting he’d like the same, just hard to say if that means continued “casual” or more serious).

Yes it happens , especially with a girl that he is attracted to and feels he has good chemistry and connection with , and feels he has a lot in common with her. Me personally doesn’t like to rush into a relationship with a girl right away , mainly because I been burned before by girls’ that lied to me by telling me things I wanted to hear , to find out she was lying and didn’t really know what she wanted. Sadly we can’t read each others’ minds and we truly don’t know what someone’s’ intentions are , so it sounds like this guy really likes you if he is investing a lot of his time into you and deleting his dating app. So if you like him back the same way and want to be in a committed relationship with him , tell him how you feel about him and let him know if you want a relationship with him or you still just want to continue being casual. The ball is pretty much in your court for you to decide what you want to do

Men can sleep with woman that they dont like. They don't view sex the same as a woman. Sex does not mean they like you. It means they are attracted to your physical appearance.

I really wish that if you like him, he likes you back. But it's uncommon for men to develop feelings when they are casually seeing someone.

It can happen, but it's the exception, not the rule for guys - meaning most of the time, you should not expect the guy to develop romantic feelings for you, no matter how much you have sex with him. If he had romantic feelings for you, he'd have known it from the beginning and would have pursued a romantic relationship instead of just casual sex.

Again, there are always a few exceptions, but it's not by any means the norm

Absolutely, I'm madly in love with this girl I have never even met. We were just texting and talking on the phone for over three months, but I developed feelings for her. I didn't even realize I'm in love with her until recently when she started acting cold and distant towards me. We have mutual friends, so I found out that she met someone, so probably that's why she lost interest in me.

I told her we need to cut contact because I noticed she's no longer interested in me. She even said she wasn't ready to meet me, when I asked her to meet.

Sometimes, but it's rare. When people make up their minds that someone will only ever be a certain thing in their lives, it's really difficult to get them to ever see that person's potential for something more.

I once had a friendship with a lady I met online. We were chatting for like a year before we finally met in person. Even though she was absolutely blown away (and impressed) that I am exactly who I claimed to be, she decided a long time ago that I was only ever going to be "some guy she met online." So even though I exceeded her expectations, she still told me to fuck off in short order.

Yes, absolutely. I once had a fling with a married woman who was separated from her husband, and she responded incredibly well to my oral techniques. So much so that I genuinely wanted to marry her myself. Of course, she eventually reunited with him, but she still used me occasionally for a long time after that.

They can. However the bigger issue you have in your life is that uti. Which you have a far higher chance of getting when you engage in casual sex. You also drastically increase your chances of getting an std.
