Yes (with a potential caveat). If I was already thinking about getting out of my present relationship and my girlfriend KNEW absolutely this was the case... I'd MAYBE tell her this girl I just met that I'm in a breakup (rather than confuse it by saying I have a girlfriend), aka. If I really liked the girl and felt / knew my present relationship was at an end (but maybe not a completely closed chapter) I may downplay that aspect in order to see what was there between us (and to be sure not to give her the impression I was taken).

This all only applies as I don't have children with any girl; I would ALWAYS tell ANY girl who was hitting on me (after starting a family) of the family I had started, straight off, and if the mother of the child was still with me about her. Don't mess about when kids are involved (though straight off would be at such a time as it became clear the girl was wanting to make that kind of connection and I'd tell her sooner if I wasn't planning the same anyway).

Well, first I would have to know for sure that she is hitting on me and I am completely dense in that regard. If she does get through that with an overt sexual proposition I would find some way to break it to her that makes me seem gross so she doesn't take it as rejection, like "sorry , im flattered, but I had anal with my girlfriend this morning and didn't have time for shower" or something like that.

Absolutely! Be upfront and honest. You can say something like, "Hey, that's really sweet of you, but I actually have a girlfriend." It might feel awkward in the moment, but it's the best way to be respectful to both her and your partner. Plus, you wouldn't want someone to do the same to you, right?

I would yeah because it’s the right thing to do. However, this is 2024, and this cut throat world, I only entertain the idea and not say it if my girlfriend was displaying the actions of a girl cheating — being rude, cold, distant, and didn’t appreciate me. A relationship like that wouldn’t work. I would just end it because why stay with a girl who’s exhibiting those signs and doesn’t want to put any effort in making me happy while I’m trying to make her happy. Therefore in that case why not? I’d talk to the new girl flirting with me. I’m not saying people should do this. Some people will stay in a miserable relationship and not work on it and just remain, others won’t tolerate that.

That's a really good question. My first thought was that I would just politely ignore the flirting and pretend like I didn't notice it.
But then I thought about it and I realized that she might get her feelings hurt if she thinks she's being rejected by a single guy. So I should probably let her know that I'm not single. So that way she won't feel bad about not attracting my attention.

I would tell her if she asked me out. Other than that, I would just let it ride because I see no harm in it. Words are just words in this case and pose no threat to the relationship unless she's being shamelessly crass and saying things that are risque. Accepting a compliment or two is not a breach of trust.

I would kindly move on with as little conversation as possible.
