I´d say maybe because chances are there that I screw it up and I lose our friendship. If she likes me that doesn´t mean she loves me. So I would consider it but it´s unlikely to happen because I only chose girls as female friends if I don´t want to date them in the first place because I know them for a long period of time.
Only if i like him back , otherwise nope, their will be no point in doing so. Even if he is my best friend but if i dont feel the romance that relationship will sink like the titanic. And I'll loose a friend.
yes, my first girlfriend, first kiss and more... she was my friend first, good friend, close friend, she was the one to say it first, that she liked me as more and then that was a relationship of years... and we're still close friends to this day... lol.
You may lose him for a moment if it scares him, but if he is truly your best friend, he will be back either way. That I have the upmost confidence in. Plus he maybe thinking the same thing. My intuition tells me you guys are feeling the same. that is why you have been thinking about it a lot. I mean it depends on the friendship and how comfortable I am with said girl. I would be open to it though and at least give it a lot of thought before jumping into anything. Who knows maybe you could fall in love together?
Why not? I already hang around her either way. Adding sentimental charge to an already well navigated pair is only bound to deepen and better the relationship.
No. I have no romantic interest in any of my friends, I'd actually be sad if I found out any of them liked me that way, because it won't be reciprocated and could put a strain on our friendship

TBH, there is always an element of risk when you're asking anyone out, but especially a friend. I'm not trying to discourage you, but what makes you think he'd say yes? I'd like to see you land this guy.
Long story short - we met in college (3 years ago), I never had any friends before. He's very shy, but got 100s of friends, we just click with eachother, now he's the only friend I have, he says that he feels comfortable with me & nobody understands him like I do, he mentioned me in his post as a "unique friend or special friend". He sent me wishes on Valentine's day with gifs of flying kisses. Before pandemic we used to go for lunch (only 2 of us) 2-3 times a week, he used to drive for 30-40 minutes to have lunch with me. Our Phone calls lasts for 30 min to 2 hours, he tells me everything happens during the day, remembers everything I've ever said (including everything I told him about my childhood, my I have 6 cats, he knows their names). I've been suffering from depression & loneliness for 11 years, he makes sure that I'm doing okay. Now college is over, he got a job & he still makes time to call/ text me & tells everything happens in his office, he tells me about his family too.
He's an Indian, too shy to hug me. 😅 But he do touches my hands in winter saying that they're icy cold. He compliments me whenever we met after a long time.
It will definitely make him feel awkward because never hugged a girl before. 😅 If THAT shy guy gets hugged by a girl for the first time, how will he react?
