What do you do when someone starts to withdraw and show less interest?

If a person starts withdrawing and showing less interest in you, do you slightly stop talking to them or talk to them about it? But if they refuse to explain themselves, do you then tell them to go your separate ways?
For someone like me, I don't like it when people play that game of no contact when the other person is texting less and less. I would rather communicate with them and ask whether something is wrong. But if they refuse to explain their behavior, I then cut contact right then and there.

Ah man, that withdrawal stuff is the worst. I hate games like that.

If I notice them texting less, I'll usually call them out sooner rather than later. Like, "Yo, everything good? Feel like you've been kinda distant lately."

Give them a chance to open up about what's going on. Could be something simple, you never know.

If they try brushing it off or won't give you a straight answer, that'd probably piss me off more than just leaving it. Like, don't we owe it to each other as people who were cool to at least have an honest chat?

At that point, I think dropping contact is the move. Can't force someone to communicate if they don't want to. Not worth wasting your time hoping they'll change their mind.

Rip the bandaid off clean. They wanna ghost, let 'em. Their loss, right? On to the next one who'll actually value you and your time together.

I'm big on truth and loyalty. If someone's not willing to give me that, then peace out homie. Plenty more fish and all that.

I would ask if something was up if I noticed a change in our relationship. Not hard to communicate with someone you are dating.

Communication is key. talk with her and clear yourselves. Maybe if you talk roses spring
