No. Alpha males are often chosen by girls during the teenage years.
What makes a guy into an alpha only requires one thing. That is, understanding what makes women/girls (in the case of high school) tick. What makes them crave your touch. What makes them wish for you to push upon them your sexual energy.
How does a guy learn this? Well, the girls choose early on but it's learnable without being chosen. Just harder.
What do the girls/women crave most? Basically for the man that they particularly like (for any reason, doesn't have to do with alphas) to basically pursue her, and push the socially acceptable boundaries.
The girls WANT you to touch her without permission. She WANTS you to aggressively project your sexuality and needs onto her. She wants you to do everything that society and women say men should never do.
This is the realm of the "alpha male." The social skills and ability to do to women what you aren't allowed to do by society.
The beta males try to copy the alphas. They try to push boundaries and all of that but they fail. It's a very special skill.
How does one develop this skill? Well women will teach you. When you act wrong, she is pushed away. She is creeped out by you. She wants to get away.
When you act right, she will look at you, maintain heavy eye contact, smile and laugh at everything you do, allow you obviously to touch her and push her boundaries.
Women wish to be "taken" in a fantasy that only very few men know how to properly fulfill for her.
For example last girl I dated told me she had fantasies of me pulling her into the bathroom at work, and ravaging her. Just taking the unspoken attraction we had for eachother, and grab her, and violate her.
In 99.9% of cases that would result in a rape case. But if you're the "alpha" who has learned what makes women tick, you know the right way to "violate her" the way she wants.
That is the realm of rhe "alpha male." And its only available to very few men.
Most women just settle for less. There's not enough men who know what to do in the world so they settle for other things.32 Reply- +1 y
I couldn't put it better, except that first part about Alpha males being chosen by girl during teenage years. If they were indeed "chosen", that would mean they are not the ones in control, denying them the Alpha status. It would be more fitting to sat that they are discovered by the girls, but it was never the choice of the girls to either discover them or not, it just simply happens.
- +1 y
@CalmUntilAbused I disagree. The girls are indeed choosing.
They are not discovering "alpha males." They are CHOOSING and CREATING the "alpha males."
in my opinion the reality of the alpha male is not some birthright or natural talent for leadership or dominance or anything like that.
The FEMALE creates rhe alpha male. ANY MAN can become the alpha.
The process by which girls and women create the alpha male is by the FEMALE reacting to the male.
She rewards the correct behavior by responding with positive feminine wiles. Eye contact, flirting, sparkling eyes, smiles and flipping her hair and shit.
The wrong behaviors are punished by her looking away, ignoring you, avoiding you, and such like that.
Typically the males who get to learn are the ones who look attractive at a young age. Or have some kind of other trait such as their parents bought them a car at age 15. Or the kid is a hoodlum or has a rough past.
The girls shower these males with affection but also teach them how to act by the method I described above.
The "alpha male" does not exist until girls/women give him the feedback as I described above.
Well that's what I think anyways.

+1 yYes. Your brain is hardwired a certain way when you're born. Sure you can learn to be more confident and assertive through life experiences, but it's different from natural traits.
Some kids are born extremely confident, are naturally assertive and dominant by nature. And some kids are naturally shy, introverted, and submissive.
Your nature is hard to fight against. And while there are plenty of successful people that are not alpha males, alpha males are usually successful in both dating and financial success.10 Reply

+1 yWe've all seen the "how to be alpha" shit spouted by 3rd rate dating coaches that tells guys to get a tattoo and grow a beard.
But the truth is no matter how much muscle you pack on, how much ink you get, or how big your beard, if your pulling minimum wage and have less than 7 inches between the legs you're not an alpha just deluded and yes we are laughing at you.
Alphas are born, they're born into the right families, go to the right schools and get employed in positions of command. It's breeding that gets you to the top not swaggering around quoting alpha memes.24 Reply- +1 y
So a man is measured only by his d*ck size? 🤣🤣
You mean that a woman's means a pus*y? She has nothing else to offer? Her worth is her vagina only, i like that haha
You're making fun of real men right? What are your chances of survival if you face someone like me in reality, i bet that you really don't wanna know, you know why? A barking dog will keep barking and making everyone around so affraid but as soon as his master shouts "silence boy" he will just vow and his barks goes mute...
Hope you got the message 😉 - +1 y
My chances of survival? Sounds like you're a serial killer. Are we compensating for something?
- +1 y
I'm not a serial killer nor a criminal, i'm a real good man, i never hurt anyone unless someone tried to hurt me or attack me...
You sound like you're on a fight mode, an alpha female and all this sh*t, i was just trying to make you realize your reality, don't fly so high, in the end you're a woman, so if you want to be great, be that simple loving down to earth lady, just my opinion...
- +1 y
Also it's humiliating when you say that a man is measured by his d*ck and gave a specific size which is 7 inches, mine is 6.2 inches, i guess i worth nothing right 🤣🤣

+1 yHmm…
Well, basically to be what people think is an “alpha” you need to challenge and win against another person who is perceived to be alpha in your environment.
Either that, or if you are a girl, you make that guy your friend.
And then everything goes as you want.

It doesn’t come easily. You need to earn it.
- +1 y
Oh, for the genuine Alphas, it does come easily. If it doesn't come easily for someone, they are a fake Alpha. Other than this, I agree with You.
- +1 y
@CalmUntilAbused Depends on your rival :) If he’s decent, you need to earn it…
- +1 y
Well... That still comes down to "when" and not "if" for genuine Alphas. While it may take time, a true Alpha will always overpower any opponent, without as much as breaking a sweat. It's just this natural to these people.
- +1 y
@CalmUntilAbused I think that’s not right.
There’s always a decent rival, the stronger you are the stronger your rival is… That’s just how it works. Strong people don’t have weak rivals.

+1 yThey are mostly born this way. It's potentially possible to learn the ways of the Alpha, but it will always be nothing but an elaborate act. If You're not born an absolute dominator, You will never be able to enforce Your domination with ease and take pleasure in it - and that's what being an Alpha is basically about. The Alpha way is to force oneself on others in such a way that they accept it as natural and are OK with it. It's basically like being a force of nature - You can possibly learn to act this way, but all it takes for You to lose the respect You need (and Your personal freedom, as well) is a single slip-up and if You're not a natural, that slip-up will come sooner or later.

I don't think born , I think parents , including male role models of power , plus believe it or not , MOST really successful power men have an adoring mother who worships the ground they walk on , I've seen this on so many occasions.
Lets say , they selected their parents well , wish I had of had a male child , I'd make absolutely sure he was Alpha.
Keep the Alpha run going Coach.

I dont believe in alpha males
either a decent good guy or a jerk, no superpowers or mind blowing skills or talents, rare genes, superior behavioral patterns needed in order to be a one
its much more simple than all of the false labels that social media influencers n young kids keep spreading online

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yCertain parts of a personality are predetermined, there are "alpha genes". Who you are is a combination of your genetics and your environment. It is entirely possible to be born with more potential to display alpha traits than the next guy.
I'm of the mind (based on what I've read regarding nature/nurture, twins studies...) that environment is a weaker factor. Those of us born around the middle of the bell curve can certainly work hard and bump ourselves up a tier or two with enough knowledge and determination... but those at the bottom of the bell curve will struggle to ever appear anything like an "alpha".

+1 yi don't know what exactly alpha male is. not because for a lack of knowledge on my part but for a massive inadequacy of precise definitions for that word.
it seems to me "alpha male" is just a word emotionally unstable and infantile men use to make themself feel like they're above others.

Opinion Owner+1 yI can understand how someone seeks to improve their life. But the question is how many unhappy “beta” guys have completely transformed themselves after following all this? More of then not they try to change some things, get burned out, depressed and often are even in a worse place to begin with.
I’m all for men getting their shit together and making the most of themselves. Personally I f*cked big time 2 years ago with a bad addiction (gambling). Took full responsibility for it, got clean and worked my ass off in recovery.
But can I expect to turn into a famous “alpha” billionaire overnight? Not likely. Not quitting on improving myself. I am still very goal oriented. Still have dreams.
But going around labeling people (and ourselves) “alpha/beta” isn’t accomplishing shit in my opinion. People are much more complicated then labels (or wolves). Everybody is an “alpha” but one life issue and a beta in another. It goes well beyond wealth, fame, sexual success, etc.
- +1 y
I think if people get offended by a word or a label they got bigger issues to deal with!
Opinion Owner+1 yWhy do people feel the need to go around labeling people to begin with? Labeling certain ACTIONS is a different story. Some guy bravely stands up to a local bully is having an alpha moment. Another guy who stays with a cheating woman is being a simp/beta in THE moment. But what if that same guy grows a pair and decided to ditch the bitch? Is he still a “beta” for what he did earlier?

Why should one care what others think? I think they need to start there.

+1 yno. It takes experience to become good at anything. People who dismiss it as a “born talent” again, do so simply because they cannot comprehend the effort it takes to better themselves

Yes, you really think trying to fit into a mold makes you an alpha? You're either that way or you're not. "Alphas" do what comes naturally to them. You trying to be alpha is unnatural, they're being who they are, you're trying to be them.
