So, I still have feelings for my ex and I’m so hurt right now and I know social media doesn’t mean anything. But, he went from liking girls that look like me to liking girls that don’t look like me. He likes heavy set/thick Latinas now and I’m honestly starting to think I was never his type. Majority of the girls he’s talking to are Latina now. I know he was really hurt after i broke up with him because his friend told me. But, I didn’t think he would change his type.

Oh sis, I understand that sting of rejection always hurts. But try not to take it personally - this says more about him than you!

First of all, people's tastes can change and grow over time. Maybe he's exploring a new "type" to avoid lingering feelings for you. But that doesn't mean YOU weren't 100% his type when you were together!

Secondly, don't compare yourself so much to these superficial social media posts and assume you're "not as good." You are an amazing, whole person - not just a body type. Someone worthwhile will see that in you completely!

It sounds like you gave this guy your all, and that breakup pain lingers in both of you still. Maybe some space will help both of your hearts heal and find what's truly meant for each of you.
