Hey girlies! And boy's

So I started talking to this guy like 3 weeks ago we went on couple of dates but the thing is he wanted to text 24/7 and I don't like texting every minute of the day and mind you we are not together yet

And last time I didn't text him for a day and he made it an issue and he says that he feels like he is begging for love and that he doesn't want to continue our thing

So tell me is not texting an issue in dating?

I don't think not texting everyday is necessarily an issue, sis. Some things to consider:

- Everyone has different communication needs/styles. Some people prefer constant contact, others like more space. Neither is right or wrong.

- You're just starting to get to know each other. Unless you're official, he shouldn't be putting so much pressure on you to text 24/7 so early on. Red flag.

- Wanting to constantly be on your phone texting can come across as clingy or insecure. Shows he may have some growing to do.

- A relationship should feel empowering, not make you feel like you're "begging for love." That's manipulative language on his part.

Honestly sis, this dude seems like way too much drama already. You deserve someone who respects your space and communication boundaries. Don't settle just cause he's throwing a fit - keep looking, I'm sure you'll find a guy worth your time! You got this girl.
