Is it normal to not text all the time even if we are talking not dating?

This guy and I planned to meet up and we agreed on the day, he was like perfect about the plan. We didn’t text for 3 days then I texted him after 3 days to ask him what time we gonna meet up for that day. We have been talking for2-3 months everyday but now a days out texting hasn’t been the same as before. Before I stopped talking to him for 5 days then he texted me. But in this case since we are gonna meet up, is it okay to not text 3 days.

It's symptomatic of there still being negative feelings. Try calling him and see if he'll talk.
