Is it normal for constant texting to stop after meeting?

We stay quite far from one another and texted back and forth for about a week before meeting up. The texting was deep, honest, heated and we actually found great connection quite quickly, this was no different in person. Chemistry was magical and we ended up having sex. After this, we still constantly chatted but less as he was back at work and I realize the amount of texting we were doing was unsustainable. He would still be very charming, inquisitive and caring, calling me things like queen and sending updates and voice messages - just leas frequent, but definitely still every day at least two detailed interactions. He will even go as far as to send little videos with updates. We saw each-other again after a little over a week and the conversation and chemistry was amazing once again. He ended up staying over. I don’t have any expectations of this, but I am really enjoying it and him, so I just want to know whether I need to start panicking or whether I am self-sabotaging? It’s early days. I don’t want to come off as insecure by asking him about it? Is it natural for texting to become less as in person interaction increases? Should I take a step back? 😕
