Online dating is hard for men but easy for women. True or false?

It's easier for women if all you are looking for is sex. As a woman you are probably gonna get a lot of matches, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are good matches. I'd say women have a bigger pool to choose from but it's equally hard finding someone of quality.

That sounds good in theory, but not in practice. A larger pool does give you more to choose from, but that's more you have to sift through conversations with or go on dates with to find the right ones.

For example, when I was on a dating site looking, I had to deal with all kinds of likes from couples who were looking for a third to join them. That's not the type of connection I was looking for, and it took a long time to find the guy who eventually became my boyfriend.

Most men would be ok with it because they are just looking for sex. As I said, in my case it was couples, not really just guys filling up my inbox.

Which just means more room for weeds that you have to dig out before getting to the perfect yard. Sure a guys pool is smaller, but that just makes it easier to find the right one when he gets those matches. Unless he is just being unrealistic in his preferences anyway, then it's totally his fault.

I've never tried online dating, so I have no idea. I've heard that it's harder for men, because the women who are on it are very selective, and will only settle for the very best, which isn't surprising really.

It is hard, and the women are very selective. I've tried Bumble, Hinge, POF, eHarmony, etc. and none were any better.

False. It's for easy for anyone who didn't care who they date. If you were willing to date any woman who was available you wouldn't have any problem getting a date. But you aren't, and neither are they.
