Is the age gap weird? How would I reassure him?

I'm an 18 year old girl and my boyfriend is 22 years old. Honestly when I don’t think about his age much he reminds me of myself so like in the back of my mind he’s my age. It is very early in our relationship and in my opinion our relationship is very healthy he is a complete gentleman. He expressed to me that even tho I’m legally an adult he doesn’t want to seem like a creep to his friends. He said when he talks to me he doesn’t rlly think about age just that I’m a person. And I agree. We agreed that it’s our relationship and what other people think doesn’t matter. And yes he is 4 years older it doesn’t bother me really because I know him for him. But how would I reassure him, I don't want him to feel uncomfortable or anything. we also established our age difference isn't a deal breaker. many age apps are larger and are still considered normal ig it feel weird bc he's in his twenties and I'm still considered a teen.

I mean the frontal lobe isn’t fully developed till 25 so we’re both immature and at some point I was being groomed by a man who was 28 I’m embarrassed to say it but I did catch on soon he’s almost 30 and was into a 18 year old sexually but I never dated that guy. But my boyfriend isn’t sexual like that or even controlling most we do is spend time together and kiss. Overall he’s very respectful. I’m not trying to convince you the age gap isn’t weird cuz I do think it is a bit. But then again the way he treats me vs the 28 year old who would guilt trip me for not wanting to have sex with him vs my boyfriend making sure to ask if I'm comfortable with just holding hands.
