Ladies, if you're catcalled next to your S/O, do you think your man should stand up for you and tell the guy/s off?

No, as long as they don't say something disrespectful (sexual) or harass me. As long as that isn't the case, why make a bigger scene out of it... I prefer to just continue whatever we're doing.
That has happened once before, and it was harmless so we just went about our business. It was silly yeah but who cares.
So in the case where they say something disrespectful (sexual) or harassment you, what would you like your man to do?
Harass you** auto correct is annoying đ
I would like him to defend me. If they say something sexual, just to stand up for me and tell them not to speak to me like that. If they physically harass me then obviously I'd want him to help them get off me, but I doubt that would happen. I mean, I know there's degenerate people out there but the chances of that happening are small.
What if the dude is a buff looking? (ex. Dwayne Johnson)
buff looking*
I meant more so for the verbal comments than the sexual harassment, sorry. If there's no physicality and it's a buff looking dude, you'd still want your partner to stand up for you?
Iunno... I think it's more about logic at that point. Just ignore it and move on with your life. If he reacts negatively to your response, things could get rough pretty easily đ I think if a guy cares about you'd he'd avoid more danger and if you care about him, you wouldn't want him to get hurt either.
It's happened a couple of times, obviously upsetting my SO-at-the-time, but I just tugged at his arm and whispered for us to keep moving and not pay attention to random idiots.
All I hear is that you're lady of class đđŒđŻ
The first time is a freebie , because he doesnât have a clue if she is taken or not , I will usually just smile and be like thatâs my girl , but if he continues trying to pursue her and make moves on her? Thatâs when I step in and say Back The Fuck Up before I knock you the fuck down
Thatâs not a fight worth getting into. Ignoring it would be a better policy
Agreed entirely

HmmâŠ
If theyâre harassing me/following us, then of course he should have my back. If someone said just one thing we can easily ignore it⊠But I think heâd feel more disrespected than I would.
Usually when Iâm with a male other guys donât really catcall though. They donât really talk straight to me they usually compliment the guy Iâm with.
Good area you live in. Same here for the most part
the very few times they did it...
they definitely wanted to get me to react...
I would be stupid if I focused on them, instead of keeping her safer... she matters the world, they don't matter at all
if your wearing a miniskirt it's nt a bad thing
I'm inclined to agree
My ex wouldnât have. He was pretty whimpy and didn't even stand up for himself. My new dude dont play that and he be tellin dudes to âget tf on before we scrapâ 😝

He got the Nola and Philly in him. They better recognize đ©
Dizzy be with the men not kids
Dizzy I will definitely touch ya boobs in front of your future ex (boyfriend) đ
@moneymagnet24 he is a man. He just dont mind fighting. I love it. And nah go touch your current girlfriend boobs lmao
You know that I don't make girlfriend
I even kiss ya neck in front of your future ex lol.
My wife and I have an understanding. I won't interfere unless she asks me to. She is perfectly capable of answering someone back who gives her a wolf whistle..
She's also very wary of asking for my help, because she knows what I'm capable of.
It hasnât happened a lot but the one time I remember was in NYC years ago. I just said âeasy guysâŠ. She with meâ and that was enough to make her happy and it was enough to make them stop.
It is an instinct for me to correct the idiots. It is hair trigger and often happens before I realize I am even saying anything unless the girl is fast enough to grab my attention and stop me.
So pretty much whether or not I say anything to the idiots doing the catcalling really depends on if it is me or my girl who reacts faster.
No. I would AGAIN remind my so that other guys find her as attractive as I do but I'm the one going home with her. Catcalling with her SO by her side is not an insult, it's a compliment. If she's alone, whole new ballgame.
Thatâs happened before in Italy a group of cars Italian guys yelled out at my former girlfriend, and I shook my face at them and yelled out and they kept driving
U gotta be following or doing something strange for me to get mad, this has never happen to me from any chick I been with cause dudes know we can get it cracking, one dude I'm fading him if he weird and if two or three or more im gripping. But luckily this has never happen to me.
I think if I was cat called and I was with my partner, he'd agree with them and say something like "I know!"
First one is not a big deal but after that my animal instinct starts to control my body language and that's never done anything for me except make people fuck off.
I would only do that if they were following us or trying to touch her
Getting too close I mean
If he flirted with my girl no issue
But if she flirted back then she is yours.
Yes!
