Is it wrong to spend one night out away from your kid if you know they are safe under someone you trust supervision?

Not at all, I’m fairly sure my parents enjoyed he freedom of farming is kids out to grandparents. My dad was away with work a lot and my mum would have her parents look after us and go on trips with her friends and also with her work.

There is now rule that says you need to be with your child or children 24/7/365.

My mom doesn’t mind, she even suggested it considering I’m a single mom and have been doing it my own. I haven’t done anything romantic or even sexual in a year and I have been seeing this guy for some months. We’ve been taking it slow and he asked recently if I mind spending the night with him. I spoke to my mom about it, not asking for permission because I am grown but I had mom guilt. I often feel like my needs don’t matter when it comes to my son.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, nor should you feel guilty. Your wellbeing and happiness is just as important as your baby's. After all if you're happy your baby will be too.

That’s what my mom said. Lol I guess as long as I’m keeping myself safe and happy and I don’t make it a everyday thing and start to abandon my son for a man, which I would I never do, there really isn’t a issue.
