I was at the hotel with him and we had order Uber eats

when is was time to open the door and get our food from the delivery guy he told me to cover myself , I was wearing shorts and a t shirt but he told me.” Cover yourself, you want to be seen” he comes to me and covers my face.. I told him why do I need to cover myself and he said just cover yourself. It was at night / dark and he turn off the lights. I just stayed quiet and kind of felt sad bc I feel like he embarrassed or something. He also stayed quiet and I feel like he felt how I feel but didn’t say anything. Is he embarrassed of me?
