Do some woman raise their sons to be single and take care of them?

Saw this on someone's social media and it kinda made sense out of someone I know but I just don't want it to be true.

Yeah. Decades ago, the term “emotional incest” was coined to describe how some men raise their daughters to become substitute wives when their mother leaves or dies.
It took three generations before people took note of the fact that women do the same thing to their sons, and always have. To this day, grown ass women will send their young sons into the darkness with a baseball bat because they hear a noise downstairs, and not second guess it for one second. For that matter, neither do most men and boys. As men, our entire purpose for being is to serve women and girls. Men going off to war will lean down and tell their 8-year old son that he’s the “man of the house” now and he is to “protect” his mother and sisters. It’s dysfunctional AF, but it’s not going anywhere. If it’s not hurting women and girls, we’re not doing anything about it.

Interesting points. It certainly feels like it makes sense. I could see how someone might do this without necessarily realizing it.

Indeed. It’s not typically considered malicious. But given what we know now, i think we could be doing a lot more to protect kids from emotional incest, particularly boys.

Most single mothers do.. Sorry ladies a mom cannot ever replace a father.
