If he gave you a promise ring -- and presuming all his gamer-exes aren't sporting promise rings -- why are you then doubting him? That seems a tad irrational in my opinion. If you were actively complaining to him daily about his gaming... then perhaps in that context you'd have reason to worry, but if you're letting him do his thing and he makes time to be attentive to you then what's the big deal?
