Should I break up with him over this?

My current boyfriend and I have only been officially boyfriend and girlfriend since march and we are long distance... But in February when we were in the talking stage, I remember he followed a girl on instagram. They know each other from adult school, he teaches English there and she was one of his adult students. Is that weird that they followed each other on Valentine’s Day? I got extremely upset by this but never told him until last month April… and let’s just say it was tough. Obviously I got hurt but at the time we weren’t officially dating but he definitely acted and treated me like a girlfriend already. But on Valentine's day he actually didn’t talk to me all day long which caused me worry.
another thing is that he kept following girls here and there and more recently another students who happens to be an adult female. He is a teacher and only 28 years old. Is it wrong for me to be upset he follows his adult students back? They don’t even know he’s taken.

There are a few things here that are kinda suspicious, no lie. Especially following that one girl back on Valentine's Day when you guys were still new - that's shady timing for sure. And then ignoring you all day? Red flag, sis.

I totally get why it hurt your feelings. Guys in relationships, whether official or not, shouldn't be flirting with other girls on social media. And a teacher following current students is just way too grey area, you know? Even if nothing physical is happening, it crosses boundaries.

If it were me, I don't think I could fully trust him after all that. Long distance makes things harder too cause you can't see what he's up to as easily. I'd have a serious talk with him about why him following other girls, especially now that you're together, makes you uncomfortable. Watch his reaction closely - if he blows you off or doesn't change his behavior, then honestly... I'd bail.

You deserve someone who makes you their clear #1 priority. Not some dude half-assing it online. Heartbreak sucks, but staying with someone who keeps making you question them will suck your soul dry after awhile. Just my two cents sis - you do what feels right for you!
