Apparently only one group can be in total control and have all the power. That's what it seems like. One group will always fight whenever they start having to give up power and control. True equality and power sharing isn't an option apparently. When one group catches shit for even wanting there own careers then it will never be equal. When one group is seen as only being nurturers and support for the other group only, then true equality will never be accepted. It's not equality when you're only looked at as the side character of a story.

BEST QUESTION! I was thinking the same thing yesterday... like we should know better by now... but gauging the socio-political scales right now and seeing the morons being considered for leadership positions (their philosophies on male-female dynamics), it's clear that we've slipped back into a 1700s mentality instead of working towards continual growth and unification. (Same can be said for racial tensions, and other big gaps that we should all be over by now...)

Unfortunately it's never going to change, especially since that comparison can be applied to any two groups of people... New ways vs old ways, right wing vs left wing, pineapple on pizza vs not.

The only way I see it happening with similar outcomes is to only generalised on the individual, and everyone. It's a nice thought, but our brains aren't wired for it.
