Will there be a moment where you feel that women are equal to men? As a woman, do you feel you are already equal or is there so much more to fight for? What are the things in society that are still needed [This is in reference to western women for the sake of this question. It obviously gets far more complicated to answer on a global scale for all women which is problematic, I am aware when we talk about equality...for all].
Women have had equal access to jobs for 100 years or more. Women could work in the trades, trucking, heavy equipment, infrastructure, etc. Yet, the vast, overwhelming majority of women today do exactly the same jobs they were doing 100 years ago (except the percentage that did farming 100 years ago does HR work today), in nearly the exact same percentages, and they do nearly zero of the infrastructure jobs. Even the very few women who work in infrastructure fields don't actually do the hard "male" jobs - they book appointments, keep the books, and maybe direct traffic.
There's a reason for this: the vast majority of women simply CANNOT do this kind of work. Most can't even do MY job, and my job is easier than many of those jobs.
Are there a few 1%ers who do? Yes. I've met 2 female electricians in 20 years. Neither were anything close to what you would call "feminine", but they were able to do the job, at least if they were on a crew with men to do the toughest things.
There's a woman who is one of 2 women who has ever "passed" US Army Ranger School, Kristen Griest. She'll be the first person to tell you that standards were lowered for her, she was given assistance a number of times that men weren't given, and even though she passed and got her Ranger tab, she's suffered permanent disabilities as a result. Her opinion is now that women should not be in combat roles. This is from a woman who has been there and done that.
Women are NOT men. And that's a GOOD thing. Women bring other, important things to the world - things that men can't bring. THAT is what should be celebrated, but it isn't. Instead, Feminism has convinced most women that women should act and be like men and adopt male goals and desires. This has only made women miserable. No, most aren't miserable in their 20s, when they're young and hot and can get male attention at very little cost, but by their 30s and beyond, if they've adopted male goals, most are single and miserable, and confused at why they can't have all the things they were promised by Feminists.

Think about how often men are told to “man up” and to take personal responsibility for their actions and behavior. About how often men are told to be a real man you must be fully independent, brave and be able to provide and protect for a family. A needy man especially a bum/freeloader is considered the worst of the worst by most societies. Also think of how often men are told they must be stoic and tough when facing real adversity.
Now ask yourself very seriously how often women are held to those above standards? Not to say women aren’t held to some standards in society. But really how often are women told to “suck it up” and tough it out by society when they face adversity?
It is actually good for men to held to these standards (to a reasonable extent). It’s makes us more driven, brave and independent. But the problem is the vast majority of women really have zero idea what it’s really like to be a man. Especially what it’s like to be a common man.
More importantly women really understand how men crave respect from women which actually even more important to us than even sex. It’s possible to respect someone even though you don’t like them and/or feel attracted to them. And respect doesn’t always mean just being “nice” to someone. Rather it’s putting the mental effort into understanding what they are up against.
Case in point there will never be “equality” if women only care to understand/respect men who directly benefit vs. understanding men in general. Likewise there will never be “equality” until women understand how men are only valued by agency (what they can do for women and society). Women on the other hand can demand to be treated “special” just for existing. If you don’t believe me then why is it always much more tragic that innocent “women and children” die in military conflicts vs. innocent men?

Equal in terms of accountability under the law, having control over Pro Choice Rights, being able to achieve the same success / equal opportunity that men have in a career path, first female president to be elected, and so on.

Women do not build all the houses, roads, skyscrapers, bridges, apartments all over the globe and do back breaking, heavy labor of intense construction, they do not grow all the food all over the globe, if nothing but women had to build an electrical grid system and erect towers and climb them to maintain the cables and dig to lay underground power lines and put power lines on the ocean floor and send out crews to repair this every time something went down and build the damns and water treatment plants and lay all of the pipelines and work digging underground to lay the pipes and clean and repair them and if they were in the mines and they were on the oil rigs and they were under sea divers welding and repairing the platforms... the world is going to be in bad shape.

We have to stop looking at things that way. Men and women are biologically and neurologically different and NOT equal. Or you could say we're equal, but in different ways. Together, we fulfill the trait or aspect that the other lacks. Men are always going to be physically stronger, assertive, and dominant ON AVERAGE. Women are always going to be more emotionally intelligent, nurturing, and submissive ON AVERAGE.

People in general are extremely resistant to change. And men have been in charge for literally as long as humans have been around, 300k years or so. Women's rights didn't even begin to be considered till like the 1850s or so, and it took much longer to make any significant progress.
Similar to how in Western cultures Black people will most likely never be equal to White people. Or how gay people will never be equal to straight people. Or how neurodivergent people will never be equal to neurotypical people.

Equal where. Great strides have been made in Western countries in the last 100 years. Voting rights, property rights, access to financial resources, and education have all improved for women. Men are still whining about their loss of exclusive privilege and women not being completely dependent on them but things are better today.
But in places like Africa, the Middle East and Asia things have remained a patriarchal prison for a lot of women. When does that change? Probably not for a long time. It's cultural. It's religious. And often the governments are repressive rather than progressive. Because guess what, they are staffed and run by men.
The issue is biologically driven as all of society ultimately is. A woman is something that evolved to breed. A creature that literally has a bioreactor in it's mid section. The brain and instincts all revolve around that bioreactor and keeping it working. The instinct is so strong to reproduce that a sterile woman said she couldn't be in the same room with a pregnant woman because she felt like she couldn't breathe. It's hard to say if they are equal or not, their purpose is so far removed from the typical male who focuses on things.
I think a lot of people seem to think that equal=same. We are equal as human beings. Both women and men need equal protection under the law. But we are inherently different and meant to complement each other. It's like the two wings of a bird. They are equally important for the bird to be able to fly, but the right wing is not the left wing and the left wing is not the right wing. The history of the world for the most part is that men have been trying to protect women and even sometimes do what they want and desire.. Sometimes it's gone overboard to the point of looking like oppression (A lot of Muslim societies), but many times it's looked like men risking their lives to make sure their loves ones are safe.. So, take with that what you will..

As others have said, men and women will never be equal. Equality is not possible because men and women are different. I believe we are as close as we can reasonably expect to get to gender equality in the US where I live. I would challenge anyone who disagrees to tell me what should (and can) be changed to improve on what we have today.
I believe we're all equal in rights and unequal in talents and abilities. The latter two is just a result of being human. Some humans are more able and talented despite being a man or woman. For ex. I'm pretty fast. Of course there's women that can run faster than me and other men. Just making this point to be clear.
In my opinion, I believe no man will be equal to a woman, nor women will ever be equal to man. We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Every woman is going to be better at something than a man, same as a man is going to be better at something rather than a woman. But we will never be equal in that sense.

If you talking about equal rights, then women have 100% of the same rights that men do in the United States. They already have that and have for many years. So I'm not sure what you are talking about.
The only significant case I can think of that is a violation of the rights of women is in the places that allow males to compete with females in sports competition against the consent of the females.
This is abomination. And the vast majority of Americans are opposed to it. But one side of the political spectrum has forced this on society as part of their woke agenda and they were massively defeated in the last presidential election in part because of that.
So hopefully, that abomination will soon end everywhere.

Gender roles are much more natural than they seem for better or worse. Women will always be saddled with childbearing and there are biological and social implications that can't be escaped with that. Men are also compelled to certain roles because of their physical capabilities and mindsets. Equality in the modern sense has made both miserable.
