I mean in terms of relationships. I know this should be! But let's be honest, with the majority it's not.

Men and women will always be physically and biologically different. And because of these differences and the advantages and disadvantages that come with them, we will never truly be "equals."

As of right now, men are the more disadvantaged gender in society; both in my opinion, and factually; men suffer more, have less legal rights and advantages in society, do more laborious work, have more depression and suicides, and live shorter than women. So less men right now trust women than ever before; hence the Red Pill and MGTOW and other such male-safety groups.

I like to think so but women don't budge about becoming truly equals. You can see this that most women are never asking men out, so that puts the guy in the position to make things happen AKA the "dominant" role occurs (for a lack of better term).

My point of view is women are not equal to us until they are the ones asking us out. We have come a long way as it is and yet some of these things aren't happening.

Women are in equal to men in many ways and also unequal to men in many ways. Both have equal value in dating and marriage, but the woman is better for quiet matters at home and the man is better for social roles outside the home. Men don't become leaders because they are more important then women, they were created to make analytical judgments and social tokens of friendship to their co workers. Women were created for private and intimate social activities.

What do you mean equal? That can have a lot of interpretations. Right now in society I as a women is seen as more valuable. If we both are bleeding out and an ambulance team can only save me or you they will always pick me. Do I think this will change? No.

Well that's what I'm saying by our very nature we're very different by our goals that drive us. We may eventually get to the same point but we definitely take different routes to get there. And the power dynamic changes has completely turned gender roles on thier head. Women complain that men are not men anymore and men complain that women are not I guess "traditional" anymore (I say that because like you say I get less of a unified message about women from men).

It's a fact.
When I was married and madly in love, my biggest fear in life was if my wife got old and sick. I didn't think I could handle seeing her suffer. I didn't want to lose her.
Then after she cheated on me and basically tried to destroy me I would lay awake at night just hoping she would die right now in a very terrible way.
I trusted her, but people change.
Sometimes now I'll see an old couple in a parking lot arguing and the old guy just looks miserable and defeated. His wife isn't the woman he married, that's for sure and they definitely aren't living no happily ever after.
In those moments I'm thankful I don't have to see my ex get old and sick, or argue with some 75 year old woman about her damn garden supplies.

Yes but women do "support" other women. And to be fair when it comes to competition men don't trust either men either. So I don't think we can say that.
