An honest question for people who think they are average looking, have you had multiple hot/cute partners, or were most of them average in your view?

People seem to always say that you attract what are you, so if you think you're average, is it backed up by the people you have been with?

I've had like one that was actually hot/cute

Some were in-between average and hot/cute, like decent or above average

They were all average

I think it's odd and rather pathetic how "average" has become synonymous with inadequate for some people. I mean, there are such things as fat or ugly. But everyone else is basically average.
People who strut, preen, admire themselves in the mirror, and have a need to make others jealous are actually emotionally damaged.

I was 6'2", handsome, had good hair and a slender, surfer's bod, but I didn't think of myself as above average. The thought of "above average" never entered my mind. In fact, I hated competitive posers.

I don't even know what constitutes "above average". I always thought of my friends as regular guys. Some were more classically handsome than others, but nobody was judging. They were very active and in good shape, but body building just for looks wasn't a thing.

My friends, no matter how tall or whatever, all had girlfriends at some time or another. And they all eventually got married.

I had girlfriends from the time I was 16. All of them were cute, pretty and had great bods as far as I was concerned. A couple of them were knockouts. But I didn't date them to impress anyone.

Were any or all of those girls exceptional or average? Everyone has different preferences. But I sure liked them.

And there is more to attractiveness than pure looks. A person's behavior and mannerisms, personality and character are huge factors.

So, as far as I'm concerned, anyone who is fixated on being Adonis or Aphrodite is setting themselves up for misery.
