Why is it wrong for women to like guys who are gamers, but that some women consider it a red flag for a guy to be one?

I know there is internet and everyone can be eniteted to their opinion. I saw some users on here that they see gamers is a red flag that were in pink. Guys can be bad or good. It doesn't matter if a guy plays video games or not. They can also be bad or good. I don't like bad boys , asshole and my red flags are for guys who are dispecful, shallow, only interested in my looks, rude, verbal abuser and toxic. I only seem to attract or like guys that have to be gamers. There are no rules for some women when it comes to dating. I had to follow dating rules that my made for only dating with learning disabilities. Why is it wrong for women to like guys who are gamers, but that some women consider it a red flag for a guy to be one?

I doubt anyone said it's wrong to like that just because they don't. My boyfriend plays video games on occasion but not often because we don't have time anymore. But I couldn't deal with the ones where it consumes too much of their life and they have to shield their eyes every time they go outside. Some just view video games as immature. Everyone's opinion varies on it. I understand both sides of how people feel.

I guess those women who see it as a red flag fear how the man has fun alone and follows his hobby while she gets ignored.

However i never understood why this is only applicable to gaming, many hobbies are time consuming and cost money.
